One Hundred Years Ago

Valentine's Day
* This card was mailed from somewhere inside Germany in the year 1912 to Scotts Mills, Oregon. It has a red colored stamp affixed to its reverse side that has the numeral 10 in the upper left and upper right corners and the words DEUTSCHES REICH across the bottom. The message on the back of this card is written in cursive German making it completely unreadable by me. The text of the message appears to have been written with a pen rather than a pencil and is still, after more than 100 years, crisp and clear. Anyway, may you all enjoy a wonderful Saint Valentine’s Day, Henry – Cartoons by Henry
